Do I buy Server separately from Professional?

OK, I am a power user of MSP Standard but never used MSP Professional. I
tried to search for the answers in the forum but could not get. Here are my
questoons --

1. When I buy a copy of MS Project 2003, do I get server alongwith that or
do I need to buy it separately?
2. If I buy Pro and if server comes along with it., how many clients I can
setup to connect to the server?
3. Do I need to buy PWA separately or it is a part of Pro?
4. Do I need to use SQL Server to store the projects. I do not have one.
5. What additional software (IIS?) needs to be on server other than OS.

I will answer your questions in order

1. You purchase Project Professional exactly as you do Project Standard.
Project Server is a seperately purchased and licensed product.

2. When you buy Project Server - you would normally get 5 Project Web Access
CALs (Client Access Licenses) This is the web based interactive reporting tool

3. When you purchase Purchase Project Professional you get a single free
Project Web Access CAL... this must be used by the same user as Project
Professional only.

4. Yes you do need SQL Server

5. The other components are IIS as you listed, Windows Sharepoint Services
if you want to manage documents, issues and risks etc with your Projects...
this is Free but only works with IIS6 which comes with Windows Server 2003

I hope this gives you enough information on licensing and components for
Project Server, Project Professional & Project Web Access :)
