Do I have a phony program?

R

Rachel Haley

Windows Update keeps telling me to install Office XP SP3, but when I try to
install it, my computer tells me to put the disc in for "Microsoft Office XP
Professional with Front Page" When I bought my computer, all programs were
already installed, so I have no discs. I just had to buy a genuine copy of
Windows because mine wasn't genuine. Does this mean that all my programs are
no good or fake? Please help if you can, I am not very computer smart!!

It means without the disks, you have a problem.

If Office was pre-installed on your computer you need to contact the
computer manufacturer about the lack of an Office installation CD.
