DO I Have To Buy New

L

Linda

Hi,

My old P.C. crashed and I had to buy a new one. I tried
to install office 2000 on my new P.C. I received a
message that said it could not find a qualifying product
on my hard drive. Does this mean I will have to buy
another Office disk because the other is registered on my
old PC?

Thanks,
Linda

Sound as if you are trying to do a fresh install of an upgrade copy of Office.
If that is the case you must either have a full version of some Office product
already installed on the PC or have an original CD available. IIRC even MS
Works is a qualifying product for Office.
