Do I have To Join/Link Databases (MS Office Access 2003)

Hi, do I have to Join/Link Databases to get query results from one available
to be had in another? I've been trying to get a DataPage created in one, that
I could hit from another database, but it won't give me a plain excel looking
spreadsheet, it wants to make a 'page'. Too much data for a pretty page.
I just want to click a button in one database and have it run a query in a
different database and show me the results in an excel type sheet.

Thanks,
Lorinda

There are several options, but going with the last sentence of your
message: if you link the table from the second database to the first
database, you can run a query against it and show the results in
datasheet view, which looks like Excel.

put the cells right next to each other

it looks just like excel
but it acts much better because you've got easier sort and filter
abilities
