Do i need a macro for this...

Hi all,

I am writing a manual consisting of 100 images and I want to know if
I
can do the following in an automated way.
1. All the images should be of size 4'' by 6'' if Lock aspect ratio
is
checked it should be unchecked
2. All should have a common border of type box.

I think I can use a macro. But the problem is I never used a macro;
can some one please help me?
Also once the macro is used it should be disabled, as a manual should
not contain macros.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried a borderless table cell? This can be sized to your
requirements and the images when inserted should automatically size
themselves to fit.
You did not mention the Word version your are using, I use 2003 and this
works for me, if you are using 2007 this may be different.
Hope this helps

You may want to ask in a programming newsgroup, such as
microsoft.public.word.vba.general, for assistance.
