Do I need a site map or table of contents for Search Engines.

I have set up my 3 page website with links to every page on each page. At
the top of each page I have these links HOME SHOP PRODUCT INFO. The are
text that is set up as a hyperlink.

I have got my kewords to show up on the first page of google for my
homepage, but my other two do not even show up even if I type the actual
address in Google. Would a site map or table of contents help the search
engines find these pages. Or are my hyperlinks just like a site map.

I guess I really dont know what a site map is.
