Do I need to install security updates for office xp?

Hi,
I am running window xp pro and office 2003. Do I need to install the
security updates for office xp that the office update page is telling me to.
I have already installed all the updates for office 2003 but now they want me
to download the office xp one too.

Hi Shalimar,

Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel. Do you have any MS Office XP or MS 2002 series products listed there?
If so, that will cause the prompt to install the separate Office XP(2002) product family updates. If you're not using any of those
products you may want to consider uninstalling them as an alternative.
