do I need to uninstall office 2003 before install office 2007

do I need to uninstall office 2003 pro(put on with CD) before I install
office 2007 Pro ? if I do uninstall office 2003 will I be able to open files
created by it? Can I install it on another computer of mine?

I recommend uninstalling Office 2003 via add/remove programs before
installing Office 2007. The new programs can open, edit, save, .etc the
documents you created with Office 2003 without issue.

Licensing can't really be answered since you didn't say what type of license
you are working with. For example, is your existing copy of Office 2003 an
OEM, Retail, or Volume License? Same questions for Office 2007, but add is
it an "Upgrade" version? To give you an idea, if you purchased an "upgrade"
license of Office 2007, then you can't use the Office 2003 license anywhere
else as the two are tied together.
