Do I need to update office 2000 after installing office 2003?

I upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003. When I run Office update, I
receive updates for both versions. Do I need to update Office 2000 even
though I now have 2003?

Thanks

Hi Craezer,

Installing Office 2003 generally leaves behind any 2000
series programs that your Office 2003 CD edition may
not have replaced, such as Office Small Business Tools,
FrontPage 2000, Publisher 2000 or Word 2000 from MS Works Suite.

Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel
to see if you still have any 2000 series programs listed.
If so, then updating those will be separate from updating
your 2003 programs when you visit http://officeupdate.com
