Do I pay for the real thing?

As a Beta tester for Office 2007, do I have to buy the whole package when it
is issued next year and if I decide not to go ahead with it, can I uninstall
it and revert to the 2003 Office version?

At the moment it looks brilliant with the massive prices we see in Australia
on MS Office, just getting a bit twitchy about upcoming costs.......!

yeah, you'll have to buy it. Of course you can uninstall it and install the
older version back.

I suspect that *A LOT* of the people who are running the beta version of
2007 are thinking the same thing - when the final version is released, they
will either not have to pay or will get some sort of a discount. This is not
the way it works.

Since you have Office 2003, you will undoubtedly be able to get the upgrade
version. That is assuming you are not running the Student and Teacher
Edition, which is not upgradeable.
