Do I really need Groove Server???

I have less than 12 users of Groove 2007 Trial Version in my office. They
like and want to buy it...but with so few users do I really need to buy the
Server Software as well? What are the advantages?

The Groove Server has additional functionality (like synchronizing users
which are not online NOW, backing up workspaces or bridging to enterprise
software). These are features you probably wont need. For normal use, Groove
client is just what you need.
If your requirements rise, you might consider either Microsofts Groove
Services or a third party hosted Groove Server installation (something we
offer).
