What would be outlook without being able to type "@" ?
In french canadian:
@ = Ctrl-alt-2
[ = Ctrl-alt-^
] = Ctrl-alt-¸
Keyboard shortcut should not prevent anyone to use the basic of word
processing : type character in a window. Many keyboard shortcut are assigned
to the same key as (not so) special character on keyboard.
I beleive a wizard to show what keyboard shortcut are in conflict with
keyboard local and option disable/relocate those keyboard shortcut would be
the best way to prevent thing from being broken.
I've got the idea of posting this to you while using IE7 beta. I can't type
@ because ctrl-alt-2 is used in some uselesss shortcut. I now have to do
windows-r (run) + ctrl-alt-2 (@) + ctrl-a + ctrl-c + alt-tab + ctrl-v. What a
time saver !
Of course i could alwais do the easy to remember alt-U-0064 trick !
Please help us prevent office to be a multilanguage nigthmare.
