The online "Office Update Detection" tool determined I needed several updates
for my office 2000 Premium, beginning with Service Release 1. However after
downloading/installing/restarting, an Office 2003 Standard icon is on my
desktop. Somehow instead of the Office 2000 Service Release 1 (Emglish
Version), I receive Office 2003 Standard Edition. When opening the icon I am
prompted for a Product Key (but of course the Product Key from my Office 200
Premium does not work). So now I cannot open my documents, email, address
books, contact lists...nothing. It appears my old Office 2000 Premium
applications have been replaced by Office 2003 Standard. BEWARE, this a
renegade download.
