do not have RUN on start menu

I have administrator privileges on my computer (windows
2000) and have edited the registry (command prompt:
poledit) to enable me to have the run command on the start
menu, and saved the changes, but they still do not take
effect. The changes only appear when I am logged on as
administrator despite my personal access. If you could
respond soon and tell me what the problem is with my
computer it would be much appreciated. It's a bit
embarrassing to be a computer tech in the office and not
know what's wrong with my computer.

Hi, Jackie,

You might want to post to a Windows support newsgroup. This one is for peer
support for Microsoft Office.

And this has precisely what to do with Office?
