Do not post email addresses

P

Paul

Since joining this office forum, I receive at least 100
emails per day, all containing viruses. All are from
Microsoft aliases. Do yourself a favour, and do not
divulge your email address on this forum.

The administrators of this forum should know better than
to make people's email addresses public. After all, this
IS a Microsoft site, and I would have thought that they
would be more security concious. The fact that honest
people put their correct email addresses in this forum,
should not be made targets of SPAM.

Regards,
Very p****** of forum user.

After reading both your e-mails, I went back in Norton
Antivirus and I too began getting viruses after sending a
message to this forum. I've been wondering how I could
have gotten a virus when I try to be so careful!!

When I started receiving viruses, I posted my problem to
a message and I've done everything that has been
suggested [See: VIRUS posting by BOB O on Oct 8, 2003],
but alas, I'm still getting this W32.Swen virus - many
times a day!!

I'm really regretting getting a PC. I used to be a MAC
user but had to change recently because most of the
programs I need for work are written only for PCs.

If either of you find a way to totally block the infected
e-mails, please share what worked.
