Do reminders work for all users of a shared Office Online calendar

I have a published calendar (not my default calendar) that I need to share
with others in my group. I need this calendar to provide reminders that pop
up on each user's screen. I was told this was not possible with the 2003
Outlook version without "Reminder Manager". I now have 2007 and was
wondering if this was possible?
