Do you know how to get the street direction into a separate field?

I have a table with 10,000 addresses. EAch address is in one field: 123 W
Maple. I am able to convert this address into two fields: Field 1 is 123 and
Field 2 is W Maple.

Do you know how to get the street direction into a separate field? For
example, the address is shown as 123 W Maple (all one field). I need to
convert this to three fields in ACCESS. Field 1 is 123; Field 2 is W; and
Field 3 is Maple. --

Not sure what country you are in, or if you must handle international
addresses, but it is next to impossible to create a set of separate fields
for addresses that cope with all situations.

Examples of the first line of some addresses:
- Lot 25 Jack Smith Road
- The Pinda Building
- First Floor, 99 Freda Avenue
- 10A Juniper
- Unit 15C, 18A Wilde St
- 99 The Boulevade
- Cnr Tonkin Highway and Central Avenue West
etc etc.
