The other day you replied to my question regarding using grid lines in
Access 97.
You were right when you stated I must be referring to a table file and
not a database file.
However you stated I could not use grid lines in a table printout. I have
on my desk an older table file printout with grid lines, so I know that
somehow there must be a way to include the lines. I tied your suggestion
and created a report file, but there again I could not make it print the
report with the lines. Do you have any new suggestions as how I might
solve this problem?

Create a Report with textboxes where you want the grid; view the
Properties of the textboxes, and set their Border Style property
(under the Format tab) to Solid (or dashed or dotted, whatever you
want the gridlines to look like). The default is Transparent but the
default can be changed!

I don't know why the datasheets stopped printing... hmmmm... no,
there's nothing obvious under Tools... Options about printing
gridlines; there are checkboxes that let you choose whether to *show*
them.

Just another thought, as I hit this a while back.

Check that your printer isn't set to print in draft by default. Once I set
the printer to standard, the gridlines appeared.

Another thing is to set the gridline colour to something darker.
