All:
I have created and am testing a new company letterhead template with a
company specific logo and styles. The functionality of the template
works great.
1)Double clicking the template brings up a .doc file based on the
template.
2)There is a visual basic macro that the user engages to enter contact
information and sender information, which the information entered is
then placed in the body of the letter.
3)After writing your letter, saving as .doc file and then attempting
to exit Word, Word will ask if you would like to save changes to the
letterhead.dot file.
I don't want any changes made to a .doc file to make their way back to
the .dot file. Is there a way to disable this pop-up from coming up
when exiting Word somehow in the properties of the template itself?
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick Elders
