"Do you want to search the remainder of the document?" OF COURSE NOT!

Word 2003

When you select a block a text and do a Find/Replace, a dialog with the
above-captioned question appears. Is there a setting to force Word not
to ask this, but to just go back to the Replace dialog so you can close
it directly? Or do I need to replace the built-in Find/Replace dialog
with a VBA routine?

(To add insult to injury, the default answer to the question is "Yes".
Doesn't it stand to reason that if you've deliberately selected a
specific block of text in which to make the change, you most likely do
not want to make it elsewhere, especially the entire document?)

Thanks.

Often, though, the text is selected because it was found by a previous Find
operation, so the message isn't as gratuitous as you might think.
