Do your friends have problems opening your .wps documents?

Not one of 6 emails I attached a .wps document to could be opened.
No processor recognizes .wps and you must add a step by using a converter.
This means everyone of your contacts must be so instructed - this is NOT
reasonable.

Has anyone heard the rumor Microsoft is scrapping MS Works? They should.

Notice, there is no site which talks about Works either!

I doubt it. I've never had to download the converter so I'm not sure what I
do and others don't. Maybe it's because I tell the computer to install it
all and run all from my computer.

WPS is the Works word processor format, which Word can open if the
appropriate filter is installed - you can download the filters from my web
site. The filter for the latest version of Works is supplied with Word,
though may not be installed by default. You can also save from Works in RTF
format which any Word processor should be capable of opening.
There certainly are forums for Works - including
microsoft.public.works.win. - http://www.gmayor.com/MSNews.htm
