I have a user send an email using Outlook 2003 SMTP/POP3. He send a Microsoft
Word .doc attachment. The recipient receives using Outlook 2003 SMTP/POP3,
but the attachment becomes a .cab file. Although the recipient can open the
cab, and retrieve the document inside it. If the recipient open his OWA, the
attachment still .doc.
Another case, a user receive a html email from a news broadcaster, the email
become a html attachment with blank (nothing) in the body email. Once again,
the email appears OK in the OWA.
What happened? did it do something with Symantec AntiVirus 11 Corporate
Edition? I have turn off the Internet Email protection and Outlook Email
protection.
