I have seen many similar posts - but none exactly what I am experiencing. When I add PDFs to a .doc file, Word crashes when I try to save.
If I save the document as .docx file, then it will not crash when I add the PDF. However, the problem is that I shore documents with co-workers and most of them cannot open the .docx file.
I have reinstalled and updates both Office Mac and OSX. Repaired permissions and tested my memory (3 GB).
