This is the error message I receive when I try to download various Word
documents from an e-mail. I un-installed Microsoft Office, then re-installed
it, and I still have the same problem. Please help!

It is bad practice to open documents directly from e-mail messages as the
many complaints here of lost data will testify. Save the document to the
hard drive and then open it from within Word.
