Doc properties are not carried fwd from subdocument to master document

Hi,

While using word 2003 with c#, I am inserting two
subdocuments in a master documents at particular bookmark
positions. In both the subdocuments, I have defined some
custom properties.
When the master document appears, it very well shows the
two subdocuments inserted with respect to the text etc,
but the custom properties are not carried forward.

Is there a way that custom properties defined in the
subdocument can be made available in the master document
also.

Thx.
Sandeep

If you are referring to information displayed in { DOCPROPERTY } fields in
the sub documents, you may need to unlink those fields before incorporating
them in the master document, or use some code to recreate the properties in
the master document.
