Hi,
I created a button on a form using the Wizard to "Save
a Report". The form was part of an mde sent to various
users. The button works fine on some computers, but not
on others. Those experiencing problems click the "Save
Report" button, get the prompt to choose the file type,
then, before the prompt to choose a "Save As" file
appears, they get the BSOD with the following error:
STOP 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, BD4FE662, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)
I even prompted for a filename and appended the name
and type to the OUTPUTTO statement so that file type and
name were passed as parameters and the same thing
happens.
Everyone is running Access97 and either Office 2000 or
2002 on Win2000 with the most current service pack. The
only thing unique about those having problems is that they
are using laptops, however, there are two other users
using laptops that are not having this problem. I asked
them to check for IRQ conflicts or hardware problems as
the "Help" on the stop error above suggested.
Any additional thoughts on how to troubleshoot this
issue are appreciated.
Thanks. -scott
