DoCmd.Quit not available

How can I kick someone out if they try to go to the design view of a form in
an unsecured db? I have tried to run a message box and the docmd.quit in the
UnLoad event and in the close event. The message box works fine in either
but the Quit doesn't work in either.
I tried creating a sub routine to do it but that blew up too.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

The easiest way is to call the person on the phone or
visit their desk/cube and ask them to please close out of
the application.

why not lock design view away from the users?

Thanks for at least making a serious reply. The problem is that the db works
on the System MDW so everyone has admin rights unless I went to each
workstation and changed the System MDW or created a centrally located one -
neither of which is practical at this moment.
Is there really now way to just make the application quit, literally
whenever I want it to?

How many users do you have? You could lock your design menu and write a
module to disable your Shift override key with a backdoor for admin access
known only to you. I am running a database this way. Let me know if this
solution would work and I'll provide more info.
