Hi,
Running Office97 on Win2K Prof. I get this message when I open Excel or Word
files:
"A document with the same name 'xxxxxxx.xls' is already open. You cannot
open two documents with the same name, even if the documents are in
different folders. To open the second document, either close the document
that's currently open , or rename one of the documents."
Since the files are local, there is no way that another user has the files
open at the same time.
I think there is a registry fix to resolve this problem but I couldnt locate
the article where I read the solution from. Hope someone in this group can
help me.
Thanks.
