document already open etc.

Using Excel 97 in windows xp get message A documant with name_____ is already
open. you can not open two documants with same name etc. Does this with every
Excel documant.

I am having the same problem with one of my workstations. Excel 97 on Windows
XP. I am getting the same error message with every Excel document. Any help
would be appreciated.
