document appearance

I am using Office XP for Students and Teachers. The resume
templates in Word are terrible. The lines and bullets
slant downward and so does the text, In order words, the
document appears "off" - its like the page is crooked. I
thought that it was a problem with my printer, but I got
that replaced and the problem still exists. I really need
some help. Any advice?

Hi nsingh:

Yes, they have some weird stuff like, if I recall
correctly, negative right indents.

Your best bet may be to start in a fresh blank document --
use your most general template. Set up a borderless
table. For bullets, use the style "List Bullet" and
modify it to remove the "Automatically update" attribute.
