Document Compare

Derek Borckmann

I have two documents that are the same docs but have some changes in them.
These documents are over 200 pages long and I am trying to find a way to
compare them and have the differences shown so they can be highlighted.

Does anybody know how to or a tool that does this.

Thank You

In Word 2003 or earlier, Tools > Compare and Merge Documents.

In Word 2007, on the Review ribbon, click the Compare button.

Hi Derek,

There is a built in feature in Word to do this.

Word 2007
Review Tab=>Compare group=>Compare control

Word 2003
Tools=>Compare and Merge Documents
check the [x] Legal Blackline choice.
