Document damaged

I am using Office 2003 SP 2 -Windows XP. In a very long document (more than
100 pages) with numbering lists (many levels) Word permanently restarts.
I've tried repairing, copying and pasting in a new one, but after a while the
problem happends again.
Any idea please?

Already done. I also tried copy and paste in a new document without the last
enter. It works for a while, but then corrupts again. Thanks anyway. Any
other idea?

Try making a copy of the document to experiment with. With the copy, try
saving it as an HTML file, closing it and then open it and save it back as a
doc file. Than may rid the corruption (though it may remove some other vital
elements which is why I suggest using a copy). You could also try saving it
in RTF and back to see if that resolves the issue.
