I am scanning documents into a stacked TIFF image format. If I scan in just a
black and white format Microsoft Document Imaging (from Office 2003) can see
the images with no problems. If I scan in color, Microsoft Document Imaging
can not see the color images. When I try to open documents that contain both
black and white and color scans, Microsoft Document Imaging reports "one or
more pages in this file cannot be viewed in Microsoft Document Imaging."
I have no issues opening and viewing the files in other image viewing
programs such as the Microsoft Image and Fax Viewer associated with Windows
2000.
