Document Imaging vs. OmniPage

I’m an Office 2007 user. While searching for the Document Imaging feature, I
found the following announcement on Microsoft site: "As a Microsoft Office
Document Imaging customer, you are entitled to upgrade to ScanSoft's OmniPage
Pro OCR software at a special price".

I want to know what is the difference between ‘OmniPage’ and ‘Microsoft
Office Document Imaging software’. I mean, are they used together or
alternatively?
