I have microsoft office 2000 on my computer and am wanting to edit
documents that i have scanned. i have read through all of the forums and
have tried all of the suggestions and have discovered that i dont have ocr or
document imaging on my computer. Is there an update, download or something i
can do to put this on my computer without having to buy office 2007?

Nope, Office 2000 does not have that capability, and cannot be "updated"
to have that capability. Not including Office 2007, you may look for
Office 2003, Office XP , Omniform or any othe product that provides OCR
capability.

You're welcome, as I said though, you don't have to have Office 2007.
There are alternative. So you may buy Office 2007 if you want the other
features it provides.

Legal copies of Office are never in .rar files.

That is a bogus Office. I hope you may cancel any charges or recover any
money you have spent.
