I have a link to a word (*.doc) file located on a network
share posted on a company intranet page. when i click on
the link it opens in Word (not in the browser), but it
does not open the actual document. Instead it creates a
copy called: "Document in Microsoft Internet Explorer".
This has caused not a little confusion and lost work when
people think they are editing the actual *.doc but
instead save changes to "temp" file. What gives?
