Document Links being erased?

J

Joe B

I have a customer using MS Project Server 2003 that is having all the links
to documents disappear in their published Microsoft Project schedules. It has
happened at least 3 times.

The documents are still in the library, but links are simply gone.

Anybody ever run across this behavior?

Thanks.

Joe,

Several organizations are suddenly reporting this problem.

I have reported this problem to some Microsoft executives and I am trying to
collect information to feed to the Project Development Team.

Please contact me at my e-mail address below to share any particulars, such
as when this behavior started, how many projects are affected, whether you
are running any stored procedures against the database, and any other clues
you may have.

Actually, it would be great to have that info posted to the group so we
can all see it.

Yes, that would be useful; and I am not trying to hoard information. But,
many posters are reluctant to publish their e-mail addresses or company
affiliations, and the Project Development team usually has follow-up
questions that require speedy and direct contact with customers who are
experienceing a problem.

I do intend to share any findings or results with this board, and I
encourage anyone with this problem to share their information publicly.

I absolutely did not intend to imply that you were hoarding. I just
wanted to make sure that the info got here for others to use in their
analysis of their own problems. :)
