I have recently been aproached with questions about
Document management / Relational Databases for managing
business. I also recently attended a presentation by an
IKon rep in which they tried to sell an mdse based
document management solution.
I know that given the skill and time, I could create this
solution for my friend with Access.
Can someone give me some perspective on this in terms of
time and effort.
Restated: for a small office 5 clients with 20-30 forms
and roughly 2000 total customers, is it practical to think
I would save money by creating an office/document
management solution with Access?????
Ikon quoted around $7000.00 out the door, if I hired an
Access developer would the cost equal, exceed, or be less?
