Document Map misdirection

We have a couple of long doc in Word2000 using headings and lists. We use
the document map oftern to make navigation easier. Today, however, the dc
doesn't point to the correct headings. Clicking on Heading 2 in the dc moves
to the next heading 3. Is there a way to refresh the document map so that it
points to the correct headings?

Thanks

Sorry I mis-understood the problem. The doc map is picking the headings(1-5)
correctly, but is also picking up other styles such as text1, text2, etc.
The map looks like (indenting the headings):
Heading 1
Text1
Heading 2
Text2
Text3
Heading 2

We have several that work correctly. Clicking on the text styles in the doc
highlights the heading in the map.
Heading 1
Heading 2
etc.

I think that the text styles are setup wrong but not sure what's wrong.

Thanks

Document Map is known to do that (a bug, after all ...).

You can either skip using it, see [1] and [2], or use the macro under
[3], thanks to Rainer Rauschenberg, as a patch. Beware, though, that
this will only work if you use nothing but the built-in Heading 1–9
styles on levels other than bodytext (the code actually works only
beceause Word doesn't let you reset the built-in Heading x's level :)).
