Document Map moves to display the first page of document

Since I started using Word 2003 I have had this peculiar problem.
I display a document in Normal View. I go to any page in the document.
I then click the Document Map button on the toolbar.
The Document Map is displayed all right on the left hand side, but on the
right hand side, the FIRST page is displayed, causing me to lose my place in
the document !
The problem does not exist if I display the doc in the Print Layout View and
then click Document Map.
But with the Normal View, the Document Map always moves the display to the
first page of the document.
Anybody else has this problem ? Is there a fix ?

Try pressing SHIFT+F5 after opening the Document Map. It should take you
back to your last edit point.

Never mind, Shift+F5 is a shortcut for "Go Back".
But Document Map does seem to have a bug by always moving to the first page.
Thanks for your help.
