document not saved in excel and word

Hi,

I am having a problem that I cannot seem to figure out. I have checked on Microsoft technet and the solutions are not working.

My users have Excel 2000 and when they try to save, they randomly get the following 2 messages:

"Document Not Saved"
"Disk Is Full"

They are saving to a network share, but the disk as TONS of free space left.

All the machines have Norton Anti-Virus on them, but I have tried while it is disabled and I still get the problem.

At this point I am at a loss. Any help would be much appreciated. Please email me your suggestions.
