Hi,
I have been reading a lot of discussions about the "document not saved" and
"disk is full" error messages in Excel. We run Excel 2003 and many users
experience this problem off and on. The files are on a shared network drive,
but the files are not shared between users. Yes, there is tons of disk space.
No the network connection is not lost and yes the users have read/write
permissions to the network drive.
For a while, users were able to select Save As, but this doesn't work
anymore either.
I believe that this is an Excel 2003 issue. I think that Excel somehow
thinks it has lost the network connection and gets hung up. Ever since we
upgraded to Excel 2003 this error has come up. We will be going back to Excel
XP which we had no problems with. I hope Microsoft will have a fix for this
problem soon as there seem to be too many having this problem.
