Document not working like Project Book states

1)When i go to a document I uploaded I do not see a list of options. If I go
to the dropdown arrow by the document I see the word 'edit' if I click it
nothing happens.
2) I have gotten two answers for this, when uploading a document that was
previously uploaded do I deselect the 'overwrite' document option if I want
versions. (I tried this once and got an 'error form validation' error,
stating my document already exists.
3) If i go next to my document and click in the 'check out' option the name
doesn't change to mine, to show it is checked out.

Cindy --

Please stop posting the same question over and over again. You already have
several people trying to help you, including me, and you never replied to
Reid McTaggarts question about what version of Microsoft Office you are
using. Refer to my latest response in your previous thread.
