Hi
I have encountered several cases of MS Outlook and Word 2003 continuosly
popping up with an error to recover documents that have a: just been emailed
to the user b: been saved, closed and re opened an hour or two later (in some
cases a few minutes later) c: been in a .rar or .zip file or d: word is set
to be the default e-mail editor aka typing up, forwarding or replying to
mails.
I have tried reinstalling office 2003 on multiple occasions with little to
no success to try remedy the situation i have also run multiple
anti-virus/malware/rootkit/spyware scans to no avail.
We use a mass distrobution license for our office and all the instances of
this problem have service pack 3 installed. as well as all the latest updates
provided by microsofts SUS server.
Is this a new virus that is affecting word and outlook?
And if so what has microsoft done to remedy this situation?
Has this been happening to anyone else?
