I have 40 users RDPing into one Windows 2003 server. They all use the copy of
Office 2003 installed on the server.
I created a couple of Excel documents a while back and they are now showing
up in my recovered files on the left hand side when I reopen Excel. I've
learned to live with this annoyance as no matter what I do to the recovered
documents they still show up in my list. However there is an even bigger
problem. I was standing at someone's desk the other day and they opened up
Excel and low and behold there was a list of recovered documents on the left
hand side and they were MY files. They were using their user id to log in and
I had setup the security so they were limited in what they could access and
the folder where these documents existed was not on their permited list.
I would like to keep the document recovery feature enabled. What can I do to
erase these documents from the document recovery window because there is no
reason they should be showing up in the first place but in some one elses
recovered documents list is completely unacceptable.
PS I don't know anywhere on Microsoft's site where I can report this bug.
Anyone else know where I can report this.
Thanks.
