Document Recovery Task Pane When Word 03 Opens

Using MOS 2003 Pro. Everytime I open Word recently, I'm getting the
Document Recovery Task Pane (Dialogue box) asking me which file I want to
save (showing me two recent documents I need to save). I'd like to know
what is causing this to show up where it didn't before, and will right
clicking the documents and saving them --I probably have to rename them
cause this to stop happening. I also get the dialogue box if I close Word.
