We are searching for an efficient method to redact or
remove personal names from Word documents (usually,
interview transcripts) and substitute labels (such
as "Witness 1, 2", etc.). We have found a "redactor
template" developed by the Veterans Administration for
Freedom of Information Act requests, but it apparently
hasn't been updated since Word '97. Is anyone aware of
any more recent templates or other software for this
purpose? Do current versions of Word already have this
capability built-in? Are downloads available for this
purpose?
Thanks!
