Document Renumbering

I am having a problem with Office XP. When I open up the
application it does not say Document 1. It continues from
the last number of ducuments that I have previously
opened. Right now it is on Document 25 when I open the
application. I know there is a way to reset this but I
have no idea where. I have searched and searched with no
luck. Does anyone have any ideas??

This usually results from a buildup of temp files. See
