Document resizes

Processor: Power PC

When I open a document from our file server on one computer the columns change sizes. If I open the same document on another computer the doc is the right size. Excel is the same version on both computers and the preferences are all the same as well. How do I stop the doc's from changing form pc to pc. Thanks

Do the systems where this occurs use different display resolution settings?
If so that's the cause. The higher the resolution the narrower the columns
will appear at any given Zoom. That's something that can only be addressed
by changing the resolution to match or adjusting the Zoom. It most likely
has nothing to do with the file or the Excel version and there are no
Preferences that would be involved.

If that isn't the issue you'll need to provide a clearer explanation of what
you mean by "columns change sizes" and what you consider to be the "right
size" - I'm afraid that doesn't mean much except to those who are actually
able to see what you're seeing :)
