Win XP Pro Version 5.1 SP2
Word 2002 SP3
I have associated a macro with a certain Word protected form template. This
template will be located on the company LAN for use by other employees.
I have included a menu item in this template to initiate the macro. Problem
is, when the user creates a new document based on this template (i.e. File,
New, New from template), the menu item is not available (visible). Upon
opening, it does appear on the Menu bar for a millisecond, but then disppears
again.
I have established that when I unprotect the document, which obviously the
general user will not be able to do, the select Tools, Customize, and then
select the document in the 'Save in' dropdown, the menu item is restored to
the Menu bar.
Any idea how one can remedy this?
